Healthy or not, what are things people do that result in them losing weight, even drastically? I hear of people only eating soup, or that people smoke pot a lot or they go on a crazy diet, etc. Fine, but what is the truth and what is a myth? I know there is no easy healthy way to drop some chub, but I need to gets these ideas out of my mind; I'm almost foolish enough to try some of them icon_eek.gif Help me put these to rest RJ.

Nothing worth having is easy to get.

You already know it, just have to admit it. You've got to come up with a plan, that's hard, and will take a long time. If you've already done that, even a few times, try a different plan, stick to it, give it time.

I usually get the most progress when I have two things: a solid, day-by-day plan that I'm accountable for, and a friend on a similar track to keep me honest.

    Stay motivated. No shortcuts.

My ex would load up on diet pills at irregular intervals, without a long term plan, and still didn't eat right. Pretty sure all it gave him was an ulcer, 'cause it sure as heck didn't work.

I will say that I tried Hydroxycut for about two months, following the directions strictly, combined with a solid diet'n exercise plan, and I lost weight like crazy. When someone told me that I looked like I was in highschool, I started eating againicon_rolleyes.gif

Believe me - I've tried them all. The only thing that works is consistancy. Here is what I did to lose 40lbs and keep it off. Eat 5-6 small well balanced meals at least 6 days a week. Cut out alcohol (at least keep it to a minimum). Hit the weights 3-4 days a week and do cardio 6 days. On your day off from the gym do something active that you like - ride a bike, go for a swim, take a walk, go kayaking.. etc.

I worked for me - again the key is to be consistant.

*slaps original in the face about 200 times and loses 25lbs*

None of them work. Watching your diet and doing plenty of cardio are the only two things that will help you shred the pounds and stay fit.

    Heroïne'll do it.

Mind you, if you go this route,
you are a fool and fully deserve to hustle
your skinny shanks under an expressway
for the remainder of your days. :-)
