Anyone read "the holy father's" message to the world? Where he denounces same sex marriage as a threat to world peace, and also sex changes. Merry Christmas everyone from the pope!

    Dear Pope,
Thank you for introducing me to Jesus. I practice Roman Catholicism because of its importance of passing the name of Jesus. But what I am devastated with? Your fellow priests teach about being judgmental the reason why people judge me without a reason. In fact, in one occasion, when I received the holy bread onto my palm, a priest was hesitant for he knew by his judgmental instinct I am gay. But, my question is, how do you do it with your fellow exclusive brothers that there were many incidences of pedophilias and bromances left unseen? You have earned a lot from donations and instead of building houses for the poor and help them, you are building massive churches and travel for missionaries. Yes, you are right that there is nothing wrong of once being a poor, but it is not right that poor remains poor. If you do that, would you dare not to wear prada shoes nor have gold symbols in the Vatican? I am not speaking of my Religion but the whole religion as well. There are no perfect religions by the way, it’s for the sake of culture and structured beliefs but please, let us experience guilt in our own experience and not about you telling us what is right and what is wrong.

I love Jesus and would always carry his inspiration of non-judgmental attitude. It is like we are sinners and we cannot remove it but there would always be forgiveness in every fault. In fact, he did not even judge Mary Magdalene.

    Happy Christmas!!!

Being raised Catholic I don't mean to sound rude but I would find it hard to shed a tear if the end of the world was just a meteor falling from space and obliterating Vatican City.

I cannot listen to that video and not think utter hypocrisy and confusion at his way of thinking.

Such a proud, pious city. The pope is nothing more than a petty man issuing "HIS" version of "God's words.

There are a lot of good Romans ... Vatican City is located in the middle of Rome, so in order for a meteor to strike it, it would also have to wipe out Rome and a lot of beautiful art. And Vatican City is just a facade, so they would just rebuild somewhere else. The Vatican has long been a corrupt mafia run money making machine. So pay them enough and they'll probably say what ever you want. Blame the aristocrats that own it.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Nobility

"Despite the relatively recent name, the Black Nobility had existed for centuries, originating in the Baronal class of Rome and in the powerful families who moved to Rome to benefit from a family connection to the Vatican" ... ". Many of the members of Black Noble families also became high-ranking clergy and even Popes."

The pope is awesome. I heard if you rub his penis and make him cum that he grants you a wish.

These commandments are a money grab and nothing more. He wants the church members to breed like rabbits and increase their base of followers. Since most gays have left the church he can target them and attempt to get the other followers united against the gay enemy. It is likely pretty effective with the uneducated, sheltered and ignorant. Take a look at Uganda...

This will, of course backfire eventually as acceptance grows.

I went to the Vatican once. I walked around to the side entrance and saw row after row of bishops, archbishops, deacons and cardinals arriving in flash cars, with assistants and corporate suitcases in tow. Complete contradiction to the message of Jesus.

The Catholic Church is a business like any other, albeit a massive global one. Would you take your moral and spiritual code from the pronouncement of some CEO dude ? Cos I certainly wouldn't.

This is what irks me so much about ( not all ) but a vast majority of religious people. I am pretty sure Jesus was basically a beggar and taught one to not horde wealth and spread it among your fellow man....icon_confused.gif

He's obsessed with us. There are literally bigger things he could be addressing right now but he chooses to villainize us in his Christmas Message?

I wonder if being Pope means getting first pick of the little boys.

    Dear Pope,

Let's denounce the riches amassed by the Vatican as a true threat to there EVER being real peace in the world.

All the rest is just human struggle as we strive for perfection in God's image as we understand it, not including red slippers made by your personal cobbler in Rome.

    Amen.

The pope is pretty liberal for a former nazi. Remember it was gays who brought Adolf Hitler into power before he executed them. Ernst Rohm, leader of the SA was openly gay and responsible for bringing Hitler to power.

I find it hard to take any man, especially one who wears $700 Prada shoes while the other priests take a vow of poverty, seriously.

He's just angry that he can't get his fix of little boys without the world condemning him.
