Can you beleive another September meltdown??? It was so much easier back in June when they were 7 1/2 out and I had written them off...BTW, still in love with David Wright

They are swooning? I don't follow the National League as much as the American League. I just hope the Cubs get into the playoffs. The most interesting race right now is for the AL East. Tampa Bay is now 1 up on the Red Sox after last nights win.

When I checked MLB.com I can understand why you are upset. Losing in September in a close pennant race is one thing. But to Atlanta and Washington? That is really bad.

And you are right Mr. Wright is not hard on the eyes. icon_biggrin.gif

and without Willie Randolph to blame it all on. Don't worry the Phillies will peek with a drawn out wide card match up and choke in four in the next round.

The Mets have Carlos Beltran, who got his start here in KC...yum! So I got to see him play before he was a big market superstar. Great race down to the finish...keeps it interesting. I thought the Mets had it in the bag until the latest swoon since Philly hadn't been playing well.
