She's pissed because they didn't kiss her ass? She's not Cameron Diaz. Her husband is running for president, he's not promoting a new movie. She's upset because they asked them hard questions? Give me a break.

As someone said, it looks like the media is taking Amy Poehler's (as Hillary Clinton) advice and growing a pair to ask tough questions.

I think Cindy's pissed that they "confused" her over what her answer should be on abortion (she bungled and contradicted herself) and it went downhill from there.

I didn't like her before, but after seeing that Stepford Wife on The View, I really dislike her.

Have some cheese with that whine, Cindy. Ugh.

I'd bet money that when Obama is on the "THE VIEW" they will all be fawning over him like a bunch of high school cheerleaders surrounding the quarterback of the football team. Hopefully, Elizabeth will manage to get a word in edge-wise.

Why wouldn't they? He's neither a cunt nor a trollop, and I'll bet he doesn't have to worry about his teeth flying out of is mouth either.

Of course they will. Hollywood is run by the Democrats, and they like to call others names, yet they lack a sense of humor if it's done back.icon_biggrin.gif

I reluctantly watched the View segment. McCain came off as a crotchety old man, particularly when he was pressed about why he was making untruthful claims.

I think they would've been easier on him if the negative campaign ads that are meant to mislead hadn't just come out.

McCain's tactic seems to be to just say it enough even though it's untruthful and people will come to believe that it is true. This is straight out of the the Bush/Rove playbook.

You know, Cindy McCain is SO SEXIST!!! Can't women ask hard questions in today's world?

Boy, these people love their double-standards.

Assuming Katie Couric truly grills Sarah Palin in her upcoming interview, I'm guessing we'll see a similar response about that interview. It wouldn't be the first time -- Ross Perot was surprised by Couric's approach when she interviewed him when he was running for president.

Where do you think Bush/Rove got it from?

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Joseph Goebbels (was a German politician and Reich Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda in Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945.)

The Republicans always seem to have such a double standard. If they are interviewed it's too tough if a democrat is interviewed they get off too easy. They have mastered ruining the economy and playing the victim at the same time.

She might have if she didn't have her cue cards. I don't know. The christian right, for whom the McCains are now working, however, would never tolerate such an opinion from the wife of their candidate. If she said that then, I'm sure she's retracted it somewhere since.

And it's a big scandal that Palin won't be on Oprah (at least before the election). Of course she can't be--she's publically endorsed Obama and couldn't possibly be objective. She's not having any candidate on since her endorsement, yet some Florida Republican group is calling for an Oprah boycott. whatever
