Californian? Midwestern? New Yorker? Bostonian? Southern?

My favorite type of accent is the southern accent. The thicker the better!

    Southern.

I like a deep voice with a thick southern accent would but a buckwheat or foghorn leghorn style accent. Kind of like a more toned down version of Blance from Golden Girls only a man.

Also to add onto that I don't mind a ghetto Southern accent either.

Southern, for sure! My favorite is the Virginia accent, followed by the South Carolina accent!

I like the Non creole or Cajun Lousiana accent, Alabama, Georgia accent. Although I like most Floridian accents I tend to get annoyed by the Miami accent.

I love accents from those tiny islands off the coast of the Carolinas and Virginia because they're so different from any other American accent! Tangier, Ocracoke, and several others come to mind. They sound like people from Cornwall/West Country areas of England with a touch of Southern.

Unfortunately these accents probably won't survive much longer as these have long been isolated fishing communities, and many people, particularly young people, are leaving for the mainland US.

Which one? Virginia has a bunch of different accents. Northern Virginia and Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads have mostly General American (at least young people who live in these areas do). Western parts of the state are basically Appalachian. Then there are the old Piedmont and Tidewater accents, but most of these are limited to old people nowadays. Young people in those areas sound just plain Southern or General American icon_lol.gif
