Saturday, 12/22, I was at the car wash. A lady walked up to me as I was sweeping out my car and handed me a Christmas card, and simply said "The Kent State Sticker in you window was my notice....to give you this random act of kindness". Inside was a $5 gift card to McDonalds and a bunch of coupons....
Looking up this "movement" I came to these comments and wesites.
ANYONE RLSE BEEN A RECIPIENT OR A PARTICIPANT? I think I will pass it along and pay it forward too....
It is tied to the deaths of the kids in Newtown....icon_cry.gif

The mother of a student in first grade, Elizabeth Glass of Annapolis, Maryland, called to offer a gift of coffee to Newtown residents. Her call is part of a massive, unexpected wave of goodwill that began online last weekend with a simple idea: "Imagine if we all committed 20 acts of kindness to honor the lost children of Newtown."

I'm not sure I directly tied it to Newtown, but just wanted to do something nice.....yesterday as I was traveling home for the holidays, I paid the toll for the car behind me at each booth along the West Virginia Turnpike. I don't know about the recipient, but each toll collector seemed to be really happy about being able to deliver a little good news.
