I feel like there aren't too many horror genre film fans around! But I cannot wait for the new Evil Dead, not going to lie. On the other hand, the new Texas Chainsaw just looks bad.

    WARNING: the trailer is explicit.

I think I'm getting into Spanish horror films lately, with "El Orfanato" and "Los Ojos de Julia." I'm just waiting for that next horror film to take me by surprise, hopefully.

I love me some horror movies. The Evil Dead trailer kinda turned me off, tbh--then again, I don't really care for gory movies. El Orfanato was great, though.

I mostly like Korean/Japanese kind of horror movies. Those with gore, zombies doesn't interest me very much. Although I am enjoying the second season of American Horror Story. Such a sadistic pleasure. Its collection of all worst kind of human behavior you can possibly imagine.

    I love love love horror!

Spanish and Japanese is the best, American horror focus' more on frightened and screaming blonde women while Spanish and Japanese actually scare you!

That Evil dead trailer makes me not want to see the film though. It kind of reminds me of The Cabin in the Woods and I don't like that it basically showed how everyone died.

Used to like horror but not as much now. I like horror from the 80's and older. Nowadays, it's more comedic than frightening. Case in point: I saw Jeepers Creepers 2 and I laughed throughout the entire movie.

I'm with you on that. Have you seen Noroi: The Curse? If not check it out. For some reason that movie frightened me which is not easy since I grew up on horror.

I too love AHS,, I just hate how the season took a break, those are never fun. icon_cry.gif

I don't like much after the '80s, but Argento, Fulci, Bava, and Corman are superstars.

    Yes. I love horror movies

Mainly the ones with Michael and Jason. I thought they were brothers at first because they are so similar

I think 99 % of current horror movies suck. They can't compare to the glory days of the 1970's.However I really loved Devil and Case 39!Ryan

Nice, great responses guys! Anyone LIKE "Devil's Rejects?" OK, I dislikes Rob's "House of 1000 Corpses," but "Devil's" was definitely one of the best feel-bad horror film I've seen in a while.

    I like thrillers.

Most horrors should be classified as gory.

Peter Jackson's earlier film, right? I definitely need to check it out. How would you say it compares to Raimi's Evil Dead series?

I know! I couldn't believe some of his earlier works! Definitely check out "Heavenly Creatures," one of Jackson's creepiest films...I think it was one of the first movies Kate Winslet was in. Dead Alive sounds like my movie! I love over-the-top horror films!!!

To those gory horror fans like me, make sure you check out Alexandre Aja's "Haute Tension." English title is "High Tension"...one of the best slasher films of the 000s, and with a nice homoerotic twist. icon_smile.gif
