Hi everyone, I'm 20 and I noticed some hair is starting to grow on my chest.

I know most guys have hair on their bodies, but I don't want them.

So does anyone know how I can stop them from growing? I dont want to get my body waxed every now and then, I just want to remain smooth and get rid rid of the hair problem for once and for all...

Your body hair growth is dictated by the levels of androgens in your body. Apart from taking hormone treatments, which would change a lot more about your body than just the presence of body hair, there isn't much you can do about body hair growth except remove what you don't want. You can shave or wax or you can save your pennies and get laser treatments to permanently kill the follicle, though you should wait until your hair is as thick as it's going to get, since it wouldn't make sense to shell out $5,000 to get rid of your chest hair while it's still coming in.

For the record, though, most guys find a little chest hair sexy. When I was 18, I bemoaned the fact I was growing chest hair, and now my boyfriend tells me it's one of his favorite things about my body. icon_biggrin.gif

above, he is a smart guy

hmm to be smooth or not? Such and RJ debate. They make a Nair for men. Shaving will be a pain, literally

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidGuys, please don't use Nair or similar products. Those chemical products designed to literally dissolve hair get dumped into our water supply and which affect our environment. It's such a caustic chemical to use for only a few minutes, which only provides a couple short days of hairless skin to then be dumped into our water supply.

If you have to have it smooth, wax it or just shave it. Please?

I just learned something! See I told you this guy is smart as shit. Since I dont do either, I didn't know.....then SHAVE!!!!

Laser is your ideal option if you want to get rid of it "once in for all"

Leave the hair until you have money for Laser. You can just use hair cream if you want to get rid of the hair. Nair has nasty smell, doesn't work well on its own, you have to use razor in the end.

Ha ha ha. If you don't like your chest hair at 20 wait until you have to start trimming your nose hair at 30 and your excessive eyebrow hair at 40 and your inner ear hair at 50.

    I'm 51 so I don't know what I'll be trimming at 60 or 70 and I frankly don't want to know.

waterloonicetop saidman up, you are not 12 anymore.
lol but "grow some balls" is the phrase equivalent to "man up" not "grow some hair" icon_razz.gif. And i presume most men and women prefer smooth guys. (personal feelings and guessing by the number of smooth models). and your muscles show up more if you are smooth, and feel another smooth guys skin against yours(i believe hair are obstacles) and kiss and lick peoples chest without hair coming into your mouth, or getting pulled and pain if they are yours.

Have you tried the "nono"? if not look it up, it's on TV commercials over here in Canada and the USA.

Honestly I have given up on trying to get rid of mine a long time ago, and instead decided to groom it and trim it accordingly.

Just take the time to shave it, preferably after your period.

I find tweezers to work well. Also, once you pluck the motherfuckers out, they seem to not grow back (or not grow back as fast). No stubble either.

Noo, castration is not an option until I've fucked 99.7% of people on my to-fuck list.

(yep, the fraction indicates there are at last a 1000 people on the list (assuming that you cant fuck half a person in which case the min number would have been 500 icon_razz.gif)
