While opinions probably vary depending on each individual, I would be interested in hearing each of your thoughts on bespectacled guys with chest hair. Are they (or me, specifically, whichever you prefer) a turn-on, a turn-off, or neither necessarily?

Here is a picture of me with both features:

Here is a picture of me with just the fur:

Here is a picture of me with just the glasses:

    Thoughts?

I'm going to say what I said before: get better pics. That angle doesn't work if you want an worthwhile opinion.

Be whatever you're comfortable with. It's more about how you feel inside than others feel about what you look like on the outside. If anyone chooses to judge you on your glasses or hairy chest, then you should pass on them and search for someone that can look beyond those features to who you are deep inside.

I would say either buy better frame for your glasses or get rid of them. I got rid of my glasses. Such a relief.

I think people automatically assume you are a some nerd/geek unless you are a super hot guy modeling for some brand of glasses.

The chest hair I've got, a little bit. You might have to hang around for 20 or so years before the glasses come into play. icon_smile.gif

Oh they don't have to be real. Plus, a fake pipe and a video screen fire place and you reading me Twas the night before Christmas in a fake British accent and my holiday would be perfect! icon_wink.gif

    Hmm

I think the internal overcomes the external in some respects.

For example: I think I don't look right in leather. However, some guys who I would otherwise consider less good looking than me ( I know, vanity .,, but the other option was to type for three pages) look hot in leather and I think it's to do with their demeanour. They believe in themselves.

I have worn glasses from the age of 3 to 47. Then I had my eyes lasered. When I see myself in glasses now (for reading) I see intelligence / knowledge etc, things I look out for in a guy.

    It's all relative anyway.

I got a lot more attention when I switched from glasses to contacts. But around the same time I started working out more. So it's hard to delineate a cause/effect. icon_cool.gif

Part of it may the internal that seafrontbloke mentions, that wearing glasses caused me to think of myself as an unattractive image of a geek.

I'm wearing fake glasses and glue on bodyhair in my pics.... Ok... the glasses are fake but I'm actually kind of gorilla like. I'm not turned on or off by glasses and long as they aren't ugly. heh. Bodyhair really doesn't even matter to me.
