Sorry if this is redundant, but I am going absolutely insane over how often I should do ab workouts! Some of my weight training teachers at school have said that I can train my abdominal every day if I wanted because it is a different muscle in comparison to the chest legs and so on. They also said this of the shoulders, and calves. However some other weight training instructors have warned against this saying that while the abdominal is different they are still a muscle that should be rested as with all the others muscles. With conflicting information I am at a stand still as to what to do. How do you guys train your abs, how often and for what duration? Is it better to train them everyday, or is it over kill?
