Fantastic. Kudos to Pitt, and to Brangelina for another $2M for HIV research in Africa.

I was so happy to see this, can't wait until more people realize how ridiculous the banning is and how much discrimination is going on. And him being Brad Pitt certainly helps a bit, too.

I like so many of the movies he has been in, this is just icing on the cake. He is showing himself to be noble hearted.

I love Brad Pitt and Angelina. They're so selfless and generous, adopting so many third wold kids and THEN contributing millions to improve the lives of others.icon_biggrin.gif

    Yay Brad!

Shucks, I'd have married him for a lot less than a 100K dowry.

Brad and I are both native Missourians. Pretty much the comparisons end there. This is very stand-up of him and today he spoke about the Hollywood community not being more supportive of gay marriage. To wit: "Trevor Neilson, Pitt's political and philanthropic adviser, told The Associated Press that Pitt was surprised that his colleagues in the entertainment industry had not donated more money to support the battle against Proposition 8."

By the way, Brad is hilarious is the new Coens movie. He should have done a full on comedy a long time ago.

Well we knew that Brad was good at comedy when he did the episode for Friends. He was really good at it. I really hope more hollywood stars do follow his example. Mainly the straight ones that play gay. They made their living acting gay, they should give some back by helping with this.

With all his wealth it's the equivalent to $10:00 he gave, and I'm sure he will claim that back on tax too. So really he's done nothing much at all, in my book. icon_eek.gif

His live in partner, is a homewrecker too.icon_twisted.gif

Go screw yourself. Donating money in support of same sex marriage isn't the only thing he and Angelina have done. At least they try.

What have YOU done with your life?

What have any other Hollywood celebrities done? Huh? I think $100,000 (whether it's a drop in the bucket or not) is way more than most people are doing.
