anyone else here who is missing having a bf for Christmas? it feels a bit lonely sometimes. I know I should go find one in stead of whining about not having one but that something for the future. I can only imagine right now how it would be celebrating Christmas with your bf. gonna be my new years resolution :-P

Christmas with a bf can be nice.
Christmas with a crazy, schizo bf can be hell.

I've learned to enjoy Christmas with others and without any others.

Just like any other day of life.

    Hugs! Gelukkig kerstfeest!

My last one was an abuser so I rather be alone on Christmas than be with him. But it must be nice to find a good man, still looking though for the right one this time.

I really do. Actually, I never had a boyfriend long enough to spend Christmas with. Mine always ended before or started after and ended before. But I'm just green with envy when people post couple photos wearing their ugly Christmas sweaters wishing everyone else a Merry Christmas.

1 less gift I have to buy and just get yourself a cuddle buddy and you will be just fine.

I am sort in a dating phase, just joined OK cupid, heard good things about it. I spent XMas with my nephew, family ...etc. It's all right, I'm content being single for a while but sooner or later, he will just pop up. icon_cool.gif

No....no, I'm perfectly content without a bf. My stuffed lion fills his space quite nicely.

It would have been nicer but as such I am not sad or anything. Last 2 christmas were nice even though we didn't do anything christmassy.

A bf at Christmas would be nice...
A bf at any time would be nice...
I'd rather be happy and single than trying to force something.
I'll stick with my body pillow for now.

How is wanting a bf the need for someone to validate my existence?

And thanks for the christmas wishes ;) In my own languages icon_biggrin.gif

Yes, I definitely miss this. The third Christmas now since I broke up with my ex, and I miss the preparations for Christmas, then the dinner together, the cuddling under the tree...

Instead, I visited my parents this year and it was, and still is, plainly awful. Four more hours before I hop on the train to the airport - I'm already counting the minutes. And my new year's resolution is the same as yours: go out and date more, and hopefully next Christmas will be good again.

I didn't even notice that I don't have a boyfriend this Christmas. Probably I have learnt to live without him ;)

Christmas without a BF is great. The last one made life miserable at Christmastime because he never had enough money to buy presents for his family. He did, however, have enough money to drink. The first Christmas without him was the best I had had in over four years. Christmas without my family? Now that is something I don't think I could get through. They are the world to me.
