I'm sick to death of hearing her say that... first she was for it, before she was against it.. the funds were kept anyway and now I hear it may get built anyway.

I can just hear her in her jarring, squeeky voice....

For those who can perceive and consider reality when it is placed before them....that leaves out certain repubs on RJ...she is begin to really crack under scrutiny. Her meteoric rise was based on pure ignorance of her and the sheer supidity of Republicans.

I couldn't agree with you two more !!!! But I am glad to see that several of the most prominent media are pointing out that she admitted the statement was missleading and that they (the media) is suprised that she keeps using the bridge statement anyway. I think that she and McPalin (LOL !!!) are sinking their own boat, for instance the Wahington Post seems to be really hitting them on their lies and missleading statements. Already polls are showing Obama leading (back to where he was before the conventions) I read of a poll from CBS/Times that the public are wising up to their tactics of lieing. The only group that seems to be remaining impressed are the republicans !!!! isn't that a shame to be that blinded !!!!!!!

HNDSM, as if her voice isn't grating enough, in a speech she gave the other day, she managed to talk out of BOTH sides of her mouth

'...guys and gals, our regulatory system is outdated and needs a complete overhaul...'

'...our economy WILL grow and we WILL get government out of the way of private sector progress...'

she sounds confused. is she for or against regulation? maybe she's just hoping no one will notice her indecisiveness and go out and buy glasses just like hers instead.

She's neither confused nor hopeful. She's simply reciting. She has no understanding of the meaning of any of the sentences she's reciting. She is, however, grateful that her audience has no understanding either. It's hard to understand when there's stars in your eyes.

Caw, caw. Barbie want a cracker?

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Palin's handlers won't let her speak to the press w/out strict oversight while she rehearses myriad canned position statements. The whole foreign policy debacle is just laughable, too.

"I can see Mexico from my back yard, and I have lots of Canadian RJ buddies. I guess that means that I have foreign policy experience, too."

Apparently she said it again yesterday. I would think this stupid phrase would have been retired by now.

Maybe its something safe for the Palin woman, even though its a lie.

You just want to suck on her Moosepussy!

Her saga is sounding just like the Bush years again, first cooperating, than pulling out all the stops to prevent the real truth from being found out. I hope the Dems continue to push this line.

She's got enormous balls to keep repeating those lies. She and her supporters really have lost respect for the truth.

Grandpa McSame and Caribou Barbie are going to be in Minnesota today. Tim Pawlenty (I think still miffed by not being picked) is opening a steel mill in northern Minnesota.

I sooo wish I had time to go to the rally and hold up a big sign that says YOU'RE LYING when she tells that ridiculous story about turning down the money for the Bridge to Nowhere.

    It's not "not completely true".

    It's not "bending the truth".

    It's a LIE.

But as we all know about republicans and the general population of America
    in Jesusland
the truth doesn't really matter all that much
as long as you wear an American flag lapel pin
swear that you'll cleave your firstborn in half for Jehova
and tell people that raising taxes are akin to pledging your soul to Satan

I don't know what it is... I don't find her qualified enough to be a VP. But I seem to really like her.. I guess because I am a hockey player and am from Minnesota and got my accent just like her icon_smile.gif I think it will be fun to see her as VP...maybe president (if you know what happens.)

It will be a hit or a miss....

it's part of the political game. the basic American "Joe" sees a person on TV and either consciously or subconsciously believes them to be an "authority".
(it's an old advertising thing...and it works in politics splendidly too).
So if you have this "authority" saying the same thing over and over and over...eventually..the less...um, well...intelligent folk begin to believe it to be true and a "fact"in their mind. If you try to tell them otherwise, they will see it as an attack on their reality or belief system and they will sternly tell you you are wrong wrong wrong...no matter how many facts you present to them.
So this is just another reason why Palin keeps harping over and over and over the same crap...eventually there are those who will come to believe it just because she keeps saying it...even if it is totally not true.

and here's a quiz question for ya.

she got the money for the bridge to nowhere ( ala Lobbyists).
In a purely after-the-fact "political" decision..she flip flopped AFTER she got the money and decided to say "oh no, I'm not like that" and put the kabosh on the bridge. But did she give the money back? NO.
So......what did she spend the money on? Where did it go?

    Anyone?......Anyone?.....Anyone?.......
