Use www.groupon.com well. You can always find a good deal.
I paid $20 per month in a five star hotel fitness center. Which is a great deal.

I canceled my last gym membership a few months ago and have been working out at home. I can get a good workout using the equipment I have, however I'm thinking about getting a new membership. I miss aspects of the gym and certain equipment, like the bench press and pull up bar. The membership I want is at least 80 a month. Kinda high, but it's a pretty luxe gym.

That's a good deal. Average Gold's membership here in the LA area is $50+ a month.

There are so many cheap gym chains popping up. They usually are small and have only the main equipment though. You pay more if your gym has amenities--like a locker room/bathhouse can be pricey lol.

15/mth, but you get a discount if you pay for a full year up front.

    http://forumfitnessclub.com

The Forum is very well equipped. When I first joined I paid 600/yr, but when the cheap gyms -- Planet Fitness and Retro Fitness -- started popping up, the Forum had to adjust their fees to compete.

I live in Hudson County, New Jersey... Part of the metro New York City region.

I think your gym is a club and what your paying is a cover charge!
