Q's for RJ 12-week workout people

    I go back to college tomorrow, and funny as it may sound, I should have more time to dedicate to working-out. I'd like to start the RealJock 12-week program, but I have some questions.

    1. About how long should it take me to do the weight-training exercises?
    2. Has anyone been losing weight on the program so far?
    3. Ought I to do any extra exercising while on this program in order to stimulate fat-burning? (I understand it was developed by a trainer, so I'm not sure I should tamper with it much.)

    P.S. Just so you know, I'm eating a lean, healthy food; full-sized fridge and freezer means I can actually keep some more-perishable items!

    Hi Crawford

    I find that the weight training days take me about 1hr 15 minutes or thereabouts.

    I have found that I lost weight, but gained lean muscle (and quite a bit!!). It's a fairly intense program, and I got excellent results from it.

    I think that you should probably stick to the training suggested in the program. There is a lot of it and you don't want to be overtraining or you will lead to injury.

    When I went through the program it took me about an hour. I did a little more on the cardio side than it recommended, but I had been running regularly before then so the existing cardio seemed kind of light.
