It's going to be my first year spending NYE in Chicago and my first one I'll be 21 for.

So where's all the fun parties or best clubs?

What are you guys going to be doing?

Spent New Years there three years ago. Only advice I can give you is for you and your friends to buy your entry tickets now, because otherwise you won't be able to get in anywhere.

Only other thing I remember was that it was unbelievably cold, and watching drunkies slip on black ice was hilarious.

some bars you can pay a flat rate for all your drinks, some food included and a toast at the end of the night. The nicer bars are higher in price. I have had a lot of fun at Charlies and Roscoes. It gets old after a while but it is fun the first time around.

Find a house party in Lincoln Park, drink for free, hook up with a guy after midnight (or during).

Nope. I was supposed to get tickets for this big party on a boat. But I think they're sold out now but my friends' still trying to get them. And I live far from boys town which I assume will be the center of all the big gay parties. So i'm not sure yet.

Yeah, I'm guessing every gay man will be on Halstead for New Year's. I'd go, but it's 5 hrs away, and pointless.

Yeah to go all the way there then have to head back home would be a pain. I really should have planned this out better but I thought my friend was going to get me these tickets. What are you going to end up doing?

I am sure that Chicago being the awesome, beautiful city that it is there are plenty of exciting activites on NYE for everyone. Wish I could join you guys in Chicago.

Halsted bars will usually just let you pay at the door usually between 20-40. Not much to do other than that. Most people are usually at house parties.

I don't have any plans, so I'll be at home watching the events on TV. Man, that sounds a lot sadder when I type it out...

I almost had NYE plans, but they folded as well. oh well. I hope 2013 is better for us all nonetheless.
