...that no matter how many improvements you make to your body, you'll never be happy with it?

I think the exact opposite! Seeing improvement in my body is actually one of the biggest things that motivates me to workout more haha icon_lol.gif

That all depends. Fitness is a lifestyle. It's never ending.

But if you just workout to look good at the beach in order to get laid, then yeah you'll never be happy.

eh.. I get what I want with my body.. I'm making improvements to it but it's more so about how I feel when I'm doing the things I love to do!

For other guys he doesn't need to be rocking a six pack or arms bigger then his tshirt.

But he needs to have an awesome smile, bright eyes and a sweet personality.

everything else just sorta becomes hot as hell then.

I don't think I will ever feel my body is where it needs to be.

After my last breakup I became obsessed with having the perfect body and I continue to have that obsession now, which turned into straight up #bodyissues.

So I guess I will be up in that gym everyday that I possibly can be

As a guy that used to be 200 pounds, I'm very happy. Although I know what you mean. I could be a lot more leaner.

    Motivation to improve is healthy.
-given that the desire is short of obsession.

But sometimes I wonder why we work out 5 days a week when the object of guys' focus is a body part that didn't benefit from a single day of gym time.icon_rolleyes.gif

I think it's important to have fitness goals. No one is perfect, so there are always things you can do to improve... But I'm happy with my body--for the most part, lol.

I'm also jealous that you're a dancer!!! I always wanted to be a dancer, haha. You have a great body, and a lot of people think you're hot as hell. So, don't beat yourself up, pretty boy.icon_razz.gif

I'm very grateful every day for this body. For my age - I look better than almost anybody else I see. Half of it is good genes, and half is what I've done with myself. Diet & exercise, plus a positive attitude and an appreciation for all people and experiences. It's simple.

That's me with almost everything I do.
It's okay most of the time, it only gets bad when you start going through a cycle of what I call binge performance where I work really hard towards something, then I eventually get to a point where I think it'll never be good enough and so I stop trying until eventually I work hard at it again.

When it gets like that is when you need to find really good ways to distract yourself so you don't go too crazy.

It's probably not normal, but I like to think that I'm not the only one, at least I hope so. I'm still alive so I guess it can't be that bad.
