I used to hear about this and thought it was a conspiracy theory but then i started looking into it. People think its some right wing thing but its going to affect everyone. The woman doing the most to fight it right now is actually a liberal democrat from ca. This is an interview with her and i know it's long but if you have time it's worth watching. I try and explain to people that we need to break out of this false left/right paradigm. The people now that are screaming about Obama doing all these unconstitutional things and advancing the police state, surveillance, renewing the patriot act, and all of it are the same people that were cheerleading it when Bush was doing it. The people so angry then about it are now ok with it because it's Obama now and it's their guy. Obama is not a liberal anymore than Bush was a conservative. We need to be smarter than this

lol sorry but the Glenn Beck and Alex Jones-esque conspiratorial fear over Agenda 21 is just nonsense. God forbid the UN have a non-binding, voluntary goal for advancing sustainable development of our planet. THE HORROR!

I dont at all beleive everything Glenn Beck hypes. I also thought it was crazy at first but i have looked into it. You are right it is a non binding agreement but you have to look into how it's being implemented. The fact that it is non binding is how so many towns and cities are able to kick the program out. It doesn't mean that everything green or sustainable is bad. I know here they are doing it and they are very much restricting property rights especially in rural areas. They are not letting people build or approve drilling for wells or anything else. I beleive in taking care of and being aware of the environment but taking property rights and control is not the way to do it. It's so bad up in the Adirondacks where i go in the summer that you might as well not even own your land you can do almost nothing on it. The book that this Rosa Koire wrote is worth reading as well even if you don't end up agreeing with it she has done her research and there is good information there.
