Dont get me wrong i have a few tattoos already but I made sure not to get them in places that over time could distort them.

But now me and my tattoist friend have been thinking of doing a full sleeve, I'm just afraid that if my biceps develop, will it destort it.. you know

so anyone who as anyclue your input would be appreciated

Tattoos are going to distort over time in some form or another no matter where they are placed.

If you want it, get it done.

If you are worried about it distorting, you can either wait, or get it touched up later.

It'll definitely distort. Your body is the canvas and if you work out harder and build muscle, your skin will stretch and grow to accommodate. It could be touched up later or you could have it designed so that it could be possibly forgiving if your arms were to get a lot bigger! Chances are, your arms will not get enormously huge so perhaps you won't even notice any distortion given the distortion will be distributed evenly.

I want to get a sleeve too on my right arm. That shit is pricey! I won't get one until I know I've reached my full potential again as I've been taking a hiatus from my gym workouts due to health concerns.

I do already have one on my lower leg. And since I've lost a few pounds I noticed that the image is richer looking and more defined. Sort of how a balloon with graphics on it looks more definitive after it deflates within a few days.

Now when it comes to skin if you dont use a lot of lotion while bulking you will get stretch marks. Now think of a print on your body, if the skin stretches, new skin will be in the middle so you could really jak up your tatt man.

my arms have gotten bigger , smaller, bigger again and my tattoos look pretty much the same, and my work is really intricate.
Just do it.

I think intricate work in many cases won't distort all that much. I think larger tattoos can distort more readily.

I've got sleeves with both big and intricate artwork. Haven't really seen
any distortion. I have noticed than when my arms got bigger that
some of the artwork shifted slightly. Now my octopus is totally
on my outer bicep as opposed to slightly wrapping around it.
So...it actually looks better ! LOL !

Bottom line...they'll move slightly ...not really "distort."
If you want sleeves I say....

GO FOR IT !

You arent big enough? You are about 6 inches shorter than me, and weigh 35 lbs more! Take it easy on yourself, you are ripped. Now go get those tats....
