I learned, doing gummint work, that the best way to set a list of goals is to start with five things that are already finished, but you just haven't submitted the final paperwork yet. Also take credit for some of last year's stuff and a couple of things that other people did icon_wink.gif

So, mainly I have to catch up on paperwork.
    Oh, and abs icon_redface.gif
And most important, have more fun icon_lol.gif

    1) Reconnect with the passion and zeal I had for my job before this year (fairly disappointing but beyond my control)
    2) Continue to try to be a gay guy in a gay world instead of being a gay gay in a straight world (most of my friends are straight and its hard to find guys most of everyone you know is straight)
    3) Continue making strides in the gym. I hit 300 on the bench for the first time today and that was just the cherry on top with an amazing gym year.
    4) Continue being happy.

Hope everyone has a great new year!

    Point of order:

Re: Giving Up (insert vice here - beer, men, potato chips, cookies, cigarettes w/e)

    Do you:

    A. Throw it all in the trash tonight at midnight
    B. Use up what you have on hand but resolve not to buy any more
    C. Gorge on it like a pig to make sure it's all gone by midnight tonight?
    D. Gradually wean yourself off over the next couple of months? (Yeah, right...)

    1) Ride a skateboard
    2) Be less slutty. Or at least keep being slutty with the SAME people.
    3) Get out more. I kinda became a hermit in 2012. That's not me. Need to stop that.
    4) Keep progressing on my workouts. I've been really good at this the last few months, and noticed my body is responding. I just have to keep it up.

B and slightly C i never have more than a single serving of junkfood in the house. I just dont have candy or fatty snacks available. Anything fattening I keep in the house i keep frozen so you have to cook it. I keep containers of tofu, baby carrots, clementines etc in IN YOUR FACE locations beside junkfood for grazing. I just eat too much of good stuff, not junkfood. .

i have successfully done this with several items. peanut butter, potoato chips among them

Haha. Never shop at costco, eh?

I've had a six pack of beer in the fridge for a couple of months, "just in case guests want one." Oh, damn. Now there are four of them...

Do not make NY resolutions here. Continue growth and development all year long. This day is not different than any other in that journey forward.

To be more patient. I'm a very impatient driver and I about body slammed half the people in Kroger yesterday because I thought they were moving too slowly.
