I don't know how straight guys do it, but sometimes I just can't stand women in general. I don't understand how guys can put up with their shit sometimes...

Glad I don't have to deal with them! Who's with me??

I'm gloriously happy to be gay, every minute of every day. But disliking women is not one of the reasons. I just don't have any sexual interest in them.

I have lots of female friends, straight & lesbian. And sometimes they annoy me a bit with their "femaleness", and I write about it here, but most times they please me. That's why they're my friends.

Last night we had a fantastic dinner at a restaurant owned by a straight woman who's the head chef, and we chatted with her and had the most wonderful time. We'll be eating there again, and recommending it to others.

Maybe it's because I don't have to put up with female crap all day long, that I take a more forgiving attitude. Whatever the reason, females neither annoy nor interest me, except for roughly the same small number of them as males, who likewise annoy me for cause.

Lol yeah I hear you. They just seem like they could be hard to please. I got nothing but love for them though since they are how we all get here lol.

Now more than ever I am extremely proud to be who I am. I will never feel guilty for something like this and I hope others can feel the same.

I've gained more friendship, trust, and encouragement from friends, family, and acquaintances than I did when I tried to hide it.

I don't understand how straight guys do it, either. We spend 9 months trying to get of that nasty thing, then the straight guys spend the rest of their lives trying to get back in. it just doesn't make sense to me.

Nope, it is what it is, and it's not something I can change, but life is much harder for gays than straights.

Maybe it's different for other personalities, but for me, I struggle like crazy with straight crushes and being jealous of women.

I do think I have become more considerate from being part of a minority, but I don't like how much harder it is to find someone to date and there are lots of people out there who hate gay people, and you have to put up with them in most cases. Overall sometimes I am glad and sometimes I am not glad.

I think im more difficult as a gay man to deal with then a woman is with there female shit...and no i kinda like girls...there fun ...guys are fun too but sometimes they forget to show how they feel...and when nobody shows it ...its kinda like its nothing there....but hey its just my opinion.I would love to be str8....at least life wouldn't feel so empty...

    Yep.

It took a good deal of time to get used to, but the difficulties I encountered when 'coming out' helped carve me into the person I am today. I've also got an amazing partner. Plus, it's a good talking point.

Isn't it just super wonderful that gay men have their shit together when we interact amongst ourselves?!

Please...I work with predominantly women and one thing I've learned is that you don't take sides because that's how a bitchfest ensues. Stay neutral and their behavior becomes more tolerable. As far as putting up with their shit, I've dealt with gay guys whose bullshit are far worse than any woman I've ever met.

I'm with you. I have limited patience for the hyper emotional, gay or women. I can only sugar-coat so much, then I become quite blunt, and that's when they start jumping up and down. My partner is more than woman enough for me!!

    Oh God yes!

Being straight and forced to conform to societal expectations to get married, have a family and die. Straight men age poorly because they are caged birds.

I am so grateful I can live my life without limitations.
