Ok, so first time I heard it (obviously at a gay club) I absolutely hated it. Weeks went by and I heard it more and more to the point where I gotta admit now I kinda like it icon_eek.gif haha.

So, what do you guys think?!

(BTW I had no idea before this song what a kiki was until a friend explained it to me lol).

Within one week, I heard this song for the first time, asked a (much younger friend) what on earth was a "kiki", heard the song another eleventy-seven times, and then heard it on "Glee" which was when I knew the song had peaked. Like every other S-Sisters song I've ever heard, it's just aiight for me.

Although this may not be a great song, I do think that S-Sister have some great ones. I personally love I don't feel like dancing or Only the horses icon_smile.gif.

I googled it, and supposedly it could have many meanings, but what I found was this:

"So what is a 'kiki'? "The term 'kiki' is a drag queen term," Matronic explained to Spinner, "and it's used in the drag community in America to describe a good time. You can have a kiki on the phone with your friend. It also means gossip. Or you might hear a conversation where somebody says, 'Did you go to the club last night?' and you're like, 'Wow, girl, you should have been there. It was a kiki.' It would mean that your friends were all there and you had a good time."

Well apparently what my friend told me was that it's more kind of a party with the implicit gayness. (C'mon just hear the word "kiki"). So for example, a sleep over is a kiki.

Looked it up on Urban dick.......it's got ton's of pages of definitions..but, the most common ones apparently refer to "kiki" as an after hours get together at someone's house... icon_neutral.gif

Me and my friends Kiki all the time, lol!
But for us( and I believe that's what the song referred too), to Kiki means to have a private time with a friend and gossip.
    CHISMOSA!!!!

I like it! it's got a good beat and has a weird 80s/futuristic sound blend.

yeah I also hated this song when I first listened to it.
Then Glee's cover changed my mind .
Ignore the lyric , this song is very entertaining and now I love it.

A good friend of mine is a DJ and he made a custom mix for me to listen to on the treadmill. This song is one of the tracks and it definitely has an addictive quality to it... icon_smile.gif
