Simply amazing...at the Kennedy Center Honors for Led Zeppelin. So underrated for years they finally got their due getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year. Often called the female Led Zeppelin they usually throw is Led Zep covers in their concerts. I highly recommend seeing them live.

This performance though just blew me away and seemed to bring Robert Plant to tears.

This made me so happy to see. Led zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time. No discussions.

    Heart is incredible!

Mistral Wind, Straight On, Dreamboat Annie, it's all great! They do incredible covers of Led Zepplin and Nancy Wilson has the hands of god! They are one of the best bands in existence!

They never needed dues; the rock and roll HOF is meaningless

I saw Heart live in concert this summer and they were awesome. I have always been a big fan. You forget about some of their hits until you pop in their greatest hits album!

I talked about this a few days ago. The performance was incredible. Heart is one of my all-time favorite bands. They were a big part of my music experience growing up in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. I have heard one of their new albums. I should go back and check them out.

Absolutely fucking BRILLIANT performance. This shook me to my core when I saw it on tv last week, and it had the same effect watching it again just now. I wish iTunes would make this available.

Ann Wilson was, is, will forever be amaaaaaazing. Just pure talent. Never understood why Heart wasn't in the Rock Hall when so many lesser acts made it in years ago -- one of many, many glaring oversights by the committee.

This song and Magic Man have gotten me through many a long gym session. Still don't think Ann and Nancy get the credit they deserve, but the recognition is long overdue.

^^ BADASS!! Thanks for posting this!

And I agree... it's criminal that they weren't inducted long ago.

Yup, criminal, and I have to say, the thought "Why isn't Heart in the rock hall of fame?" has actually crossed my mind several times over the years. Ann Wilson is a bad bitch. Another case in point:

I can think of a few guys I've known for whom the lyrics to the chorus of this song applies -- not sure my Mom would understand though haha.

Thanks. What a great way to start my morning. Zeppelin is one of my top ten all time greatest. I have so many that it's hard to pick just ten. At my ripe old age, I was very much into this from the beginning.

It's really hard for me to pick an absolute favorite with Pink Floyd, Crosby Stills Nash, Moody Blues, Beatles, Jethro Tull and so many others from the 60s.

As I said in the other thread, Heart has been covering Zeppelin tracks forever. They were sometimes called "Little Led Zeppelin" but not taken that seriously in their heyday, first because in the '70s they were a band led by women, then in the '80s they made a conscious decision to sell out to the power ballad craze for economic success.

In the past decade they've not only gotten back to their roots but improved on them, IMO.

This cover is now on iTunes and is the #1 rock song right now. The Wilson gals did a great job.

Yeah she's big, but she's been big for 20 years. In my book she gets a pass because she's the best female rock vocalist ever. It takes some serious balls to be able to get up in front of Led Zeppelin, the President, and all those other people to sing Zep's most iconic song.

Never seem to hear anyone talking about Aretha Franklin's weight and she's huge. Don't really understand why everyone brings it up about Ann Wilson.

Ann got it more because rock and roll tends to be a male dominated genre and then in the 80s when videos took off it really was a no no to have a large image out there. The thing is in the late 70s to mid 80s she really was not that big at all, she got real big toward the early 90s and then lost some of it in the mid 2000s but gaining some back again

still even with her weight, she really looked good on stage to work herself. She has to be close to 60 right, Nancy a few years young has always looked amazing. Women her age do not look like that..lol

seeing them next week in Atlantic City...can not wait
