Do you belong to a gym? Or are you planning to workout at home?

tip: start off with some light weights just so that they get the movements right and get your body used to what is to come. it's all about correct technique and not how much you push

My suggestion : Enroll in a local gym and start with a personal trainer. That way, you start off on the right foot, so to speak. That way you can be efficient with your workouts rather than this long, drawn out trial-and-error approach to things. Everyone has their own anecdotes and stories, but you are you, and your body needs can be addressed with specificity to meet your goals.

i recently started working out and learned there a lot more to it and here how i did it. I didn't wanna spend tons of money so i just signed up at a local gym without a personal trainer.

I guess i wasn't doing things the 'right way' and someone approached me and taught me how to do it, and also told me to look things up on internet so i can work out the proper way without wasting my time.

Most guys at my gym were very helpful at teaching me how to use and do things and gave me great tips. start watching work out videos on youtube and get on a plan. theres actually a great workout plan for beginners on this website.

Don't be shy and ask someone when you are lost. I find most guys are eager to help you out but you have to be the first one to ask.
