Maureen Down has posted an enjoyable transcript of a meeting between Senator Obama and President Bartlet (of the West Wing), courtesy of West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin.

You can read the transcript here at the New York Times.

My favorite quote from President Bartlet: "The people who want English to be the official language of the United States are uncomfortable with their leaders being fluent in it."

I also fully agree that Senator Obama and the Democratic Party need to embrace and nurture the righteous anger against the Republican Party's determination to aim for incompetent governance and a mediocre USA.

Dowd is usually pretty good at taking politicians down a notch or two in a funny way without being overly mean about it.

I liked her catch-phrase from last week too, something about how Palin asks us to trust in "the power of positive un-thinking."
