That's so unhealthy. Almost like puking your meals, but without the damage to your teeth. icon_neutral.gif

I can't believe they actually got people to test this. Who were these suckers? I wonder how much they were paid?

What a fucking sick and twisted PARADOX!!! So, let's stop bullying, accept everyone for who they are etc., etc., HOWEVER!!! Let's pawn these devices which glamourize mechanical anorexia/bulimia? Uhhh, Yeah... That's some kinda' twisted and fucked up mentality!!!

This actually makes me angry! There are people starving all over the world, and we are going to make a device for fat fucks to eat as much as they want and then, with a press of a button, "aspirate" their food through a hose exiting their stomachs. WTF is wrong with people? Seriously, this is reprehensible on so many levels. Consume as much food as you want without ever gaining a pound. Fucking greedy, glutenous, fat fucks! All of them! icon_twisted.gif

P.S. Don't give me a lecture on medical and health concerns! The only medical and health concerns these people need to worry about is mental health.

"A US patent application has been made for an unlikely weight loss tool: a tube installed from inside the stomach, out the abdominal wall, that allows patients to manually pump their meal straight out."

    icon_eek.gif This can't be safe.

I really can not see this seeing the light of day with the FDA. Im gonna be pissed if something like this mess (literally) gets stamped OK while they continue to screw around with promising HIV and cancer treatments. icon_evil.gif

"That was a delicious meal, thank you. Do you mind if I use your restroom to unload my bag?" Simply disgusting. I agree with He Man, this is a 21st century Roman vomitorium.

Fun fact. The vomitorium was not a place to purge while binge eating, but rather an exit from a stadium or colosium. Though the name does imply otherwise.

Also, the FDA only controls the approval of what is researched, and is not responsible for the lack of a cure for either disease. That issue lies in the hands of the pharmaceutical companies, who simply aren't researching a cure, but rather better and more expensive treatments.

I'm still waiting for people to have their stomachs removed, and fed only their required nutrients via IV.

If they're going to make this technology, why on earth wouldn't they use it to put healthy food INTO the stomach instead of take unhealthy food out?? Am I missing something here?
