Well, if the woman intends to do what she says, I give her props. Millions of celebrities/entertainers (in addition to ordinary Americans) have pissed away everything they earned, having never given the future the slightest thought. Wish the rest of the world were more forward-thinking in this regard.

the fact that so many people WATCH the show and comment about it in general (not specifically on RJ) scares the shit out of me! I just told a coworker today when asked about some "reality" show that I don't watch reality TV because I like my brains to stay how and where they are...non-liquid and in my head. A customer started chuckling icon_cool.gif

She's not as simple minded as she looks if that's the case.

Reality TV is fine as long as someone can actually "learn" something from it. I really enjoyed the early years of "The Apprentice" (before Donald Trump became such an asshat) because I "learned" some business aspects that I still use today. Since my new-found passion is real estate, I try not to miss "Million Dollar Listing" because I can actually pick up a negotiating skill or two--and realize how cut-throat that industry can be sometimes.

Therefore, "all" reality TV isn't going to damage this brain.

I do take exception to this "Honey Boo Boo" craze though. Sorry, but those people are pigs! The really sad part of this, and one that I would only admit to you guys, is I went to college in Georgia about 50 miles from where these folks live. That's scary enough to just think about......

Yahoo NewsJune said Sugarbear (Honey Boo Boo's father) provides for the family by working as a contractor and no matter how much dough they rake in from their reality endeavors, they will never blow it all on material items.

Good for her, that amount of self control is hard to find in anyone. And good job to both parents - pushing education and financial responsibility in one move!

Everytime I see HBB oncoming commericals, I just cringe without ever watching the show. The girl may be adorable, but have you noticed that she has 3 rolls on her stomach? (Thankfully they didn't go to Anne Geddes for a photo shoot!) Just true to the saying, "Like mother and daughter" in this case. I feel that their health should be a priority instead of being on a reality show for another season!

I'm sorry and I don't mean to attack a little girl but these two are disgusting. Instead of her insanely obese mother putting her on tv she needs to put her on a treadmill and diet.

The little girl is actually incredibly intelligent and good on her mother for doing that. 15 minutes of fame will be over soon.

Listen, for some bumpkins, they found an angle to get a tv show and make some money. If she's actually smart enough to save and invest said money, then she's a lot sharper than she looks and sneezes!

Baby pigs are adorable but I don't want to watch a tv series about them.

All it takes is mindless entertainment for your brain to leak out of your head?
