I wanna get down to 195...

    I'm comfortable being around 215 lbs., and with my big frame (6'3''), it's an alright weight. With that being said, I'm ready to get uncomfortable! I've already slimmed down significantly, having participated in sports in the past that require you to be big and bulky, and I just want to get shredded. I just went out, after researching for a couple weeks, Hydroxycut from a local GNC store. I have a few friends that have taken it in the past who seemed to have benefitted having taken it. I was wondering if anyone else on here had any history taking the pills, if you've been able to actually lose fat and gain more muscle mass. Let me know, thanks!

    I've had friends that've used both the regular Hydroxycut and the Hardcore versions with success... however, in tandem with those supplements, they also changed their diet and increased cardio significantly. So I'm not sure how much you can really attribute to the pills versus the behavioral changes.

    I think the biggest benefit of either version is the dose of caffeine it puts in your system to help boost your metabolism. Also, if you time taking it right, it can be a great boost in energy to your workout.

    If you want to get shredded, I think more than anything, watch your caloric intake and eat small meals (5-6x a day), and go bananas with cardio -- in particular, doing maybe 30-45 minutes first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Or, right after you lift.
