- have a new house built for my Mom and make sure she was taken care of. - pay off my sibling's mortgages and buy them new cars - build myself a nice dream home - travel the world - oh yeah, and quit my job
I'd give a chunk to my mom, a chunk to my brother, a chunk to my little niece for college and a comfortable life, a chunk to a bunch of charities, and the rest I would use to build my dream house (nothing real big or audacious, just cool), travel a bit, and probably keep on doing what I'm doing cuz I truly love my job.
1. Larger house. 2. Motorhome to replace my camper trailer. 3. About 6 more motorcycles. 4. A new piano.
Contribute to my favorite charities, especially those dealing with HIV/AIDS and homeless GLBT youth. Support political candidates who will also vote for these causes, for gay rights in general, and will keep any Republicans from winning elective office.
I'd have my financial planner advise me on the tax ramifications - and go from there. I'd be mindful of how many lottery winners ended up going through it all very quickly. Then, I'd just sock it away (none of my family would need or want it) so since I'm the poorest one of all of us - I'd keep it all for myself! Seriously - I give regularly to my pet charities - pets, seniors, struggling student athletes, AIDS and cancer victims, so I'd share a major portion with all of them. Any of my friends needing anything would be included. I'd never stop working though - I really like what I do - and I think sitting around a pool all day is fine as long as it is a vacation from something - but if it is all you had to do, it could be deadly.
