While I think the argument is ridiculous I do kinda wonder why they would pick Neil Patrick Harris for a Super Bowl ad.

Because it would drive those loving Christians nuts?

I saw a promo on CBS last night - same eye black promo with the guy from Mike and Molly. CBS is obviously using actors from their shows to promote the Super Bowl - and once again, people over-react.
    Pushing a gay agenda, plu-eze.

Don't be fooled. This has nothing to do with Christians. This has to do with a marketing strategy to create controversy to get FREE publicity for the promo and CBS at the expense of Christians, gays, and those who are lame enough to be fooled by the media/PR.

yourname2000 saidThere's a poll at the bottom of the "offended" website

Oh no, you could NEVER get me to even remotely validate the existence of World Nut Daily with a click. You know that they keep polls up there only if they're going the way they like it. And if they're not, then they simply remove the poll and pretend it didn't exist, or modify the responses. 3rd graders have more dignity than those guys.

Because he's one of the more popular actors featured on CBS. Same with Beyonce.

He also has a fantastic partner and is a father of twins! I think they picked quite well. If there ever was a model gay man NPH is it.

    I like his tweet:

"Also, I must say I'm very excited for the Super Bowl. I love football - look forward to it every year. #noagenda"

Number one pizza delivery day of the year. I'm sure all the pizza chains won't be complaining either way.

So despite not mentioning God, Christainity or even being gay he pushed an agenda? Despite the fact that the eye black has been used as a way to communicate messages for years he pushed an agenda? Despite the fact that Tebow's shameless peddling of his faith for attention is more of a disgrace Neil pushed an agenda?

    Okay....

Basically comes down to this. We cannot have a gay male during football! Heaven forbid that people get an idea that we are not all deviants.

    Quoted for truth!
Add to it: hours and hours shut away alone while online and in-home violent video game-playing and you'll have the answer to Columbine, Newtown, etc...

Because the superbowl is on CBS and how I met your mother is a very popular show in that station with Neil being arguably the biggest star.
