Looks like Gasol AND Howard are out for at least a week and they're already 11th in the West...could this be the year that there are no Lakers in the playoffs? I don't think Kobe will let that happen, but it's gonna be a serious struggle...

Yea the Lakers are being outdone by the Clippers this is a first. I'm sick of big threes but the Clippers give me a breath of fresh air. My boy CP3 is killing shit now.

WHAT? Kobe and Dwight don't really get along at ALL? Who could have possibly predicted that to happen?

Throw Gasol's craziness in the mix and even Phil Jackson would have his hands full with all those needy souls....

Big threes are only bad when the Heat does it. Every NBA fan of every other team knows that, duh.

Lol-ing so hard at the Lakers right now.

Relax you Laker haters.. Heat didn't win the championship when the "big 3" first came together.
Lakers just need to be the 8th seed or w.e and be ready for showtime ;)
although cp3 is a beast right now!! Kobe at 34, individually is playing better than 95% of the players in the league.

Meanwhile back in Orlando......We don't miss Superman at all. Yeah, our world fell off the axis when the deal was made, however, the Magic have not crashed and burned with him gone.

They see the bright lights and all the trappings of LA and thumb their nose at us here. LA is nice, but it really isn't different than Orlando...or Milwaukee...or Indianapolis.....Really, it isn't. But Dwight thought so.....

Hope Big Bird gets cleared soon.

This is still the first half of the season, and if you know about basketball, the Lakers are a playoff team so even if they get the 8th seed, they've got the playoff experience like no other, so I wouldn't sweat it.

At the end of the day, win or lose, the Lakers are a true franchise, a dynasty, and they will find a way to bring home a championship.
(Just hope Kobe can be a part of it!!!!)

And the hits just keep on coming! 15-19! Free falling! The good news is Dallas, Sacramento, Phoenix are all below them and all losing, too. So they can't fall any further than 11th. Probably.

A playoff team based on what? They've got experience losing in second round that's for sure haha

    ^ this

Also, Dwilight is over rated. He isn't all that amazing and I feel like he is at his peak and wont get any better as time moves on. Not saying he isn't amazing, but not as good as everyone makes out to be. Not a superstar in my opinion. Also, Laker time is up. Lob City Clips yall!

No need to talk about this irrelevant basketball team.

Kobe, Metta World Peace, Gasol have won championships. Howard and Nash have extensive playoff experience also.
The key is how well these 5 can mesh in the playoffs...

Hey at least they almost climbed back in it against the Spurs. It's sort of their Silver Linings Playbook for the next couple weeks.

Minnesota's gonna struggle without Kevin Love, so maybe the Flake Show will get back to 10th place by then.

Gotta give it to the Lakers, though. Nobody's crying or laughing over the Mavericks or Sixers right now... no thread for them! Of course, neither one is spending well over $100 million (and $77 million next year) to field an 8-seed, either! icon_biggrin.gif
