Three years after left arm paralysis (cervical hernia)
Two years after major right shoulder rotator cuff inflammation (thank you tennis)

Finally got back to my old max of 220lbs on bench press (no cheating : full range, middle size grip, back flat on bench, knees up).

It's specially enjoyable after all those long months bench pressing with he empty bar (and the weird looks I had), very slow recovery, but full one, so me happy !

I'm just back to where I was three years ago, but back then I wasn't sure I could use my left arm properly ever, so it feel wonderful.

    200lbs is 100kg, I like round numbers.

Good for you!! It so hard to be patient and not aggravate your injury. Stay cautious!

Congrats man. I know what its like to reach a long term goal after months of attempting. When I first benched 225 after several months I let out a great yell "I did it" and everyone in the gym looked at me like I was retarded.
I swear I heard Händel Messiah playing in the background.

Nice! I've lost a lot of weight and strength, I used to be able to do 275, got it to 195 the other day

    Thank guys.
I was unable to lace my shoes, to cut my steak with fork and knife or spread cold butter on bread three years ago.
And the doc told me I could recover in time... or not.

Exceptional! Outcome is relative to desire.
