Going to be visiting the Seattle/Tacoma area soon and was looking for some information about skiing in the area.

Was thinking about Whistler, but can't go to Canada with my cousin this time around.
I have seen good things about Crystal Mountain in Washington and also Timberline Lodge in Oregon.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

Crystal is the largest in Washington. This is where i normally go. It's about an hour and a half from either Seattle or Tacoma. Stevens Pass is good too. It's about 2 hours from Seattle, 2.5 from Tacoma. Both are mixed boarders and skiis. Crystal has a better pub at the end of the day... Snorting Elk. Not sure about timberline, but it's about 4 hours from Seattle.

crystal......also,.... mt. baker is a fun adventure if you maybe spend a night or two in bellingham, 2 hours north, the ski hill is 1.5 hour drive from bellingham..

bellingham itself is a college town, fairly fun... very northwesty, right on the bay etc...
