I've used (had to import) N02 from the States but their shipping contractor is just too expensive. It costs me more to ship the product than it costs to actually purchase the product itself... thanks MRI (www.getno2.com)

So...I'm looking for something just as good if not better than MRI's N02.

Anyone got any suggestions.

Cheers,

I dunno. I think the ones you buy taste better than the ones that come from the exhaust of your car!

From wikipedia .
Nitric oxide (NO) should not be confused with nitrous oxide (N2O), a general anaesthetic, or with nitrogen dioxide (NO2) which is another poisonous air pollutant.

Seriously though, I got a free book on the stuff and looked into it. It seems to be a rehash Arginine in the 80's. Back then it was supposed to boost growth hormone. Now its about Hemodilation and other stuff. I didn't get much from it though.

I don't know what is available in australia but I sometimes order stuff from

http://www.bulknutrition.com/

they also have reviews at

http://forums.bulknutrition.com/

so maybe you can at least find useful reviews there.

Did you try googling to find local dealers?

Well of course, none of the dietary supplements actually contains NO - they release NO to the blood stream when they are metabolized. To that extent, they all do the same thing. The difference between the various products is supposed to be in the amount that actually gets delivered to the blood stream (vs digestive tract) and the rate at which they deliver it. I'm not sure if any of that is really backed up with good data. Anyway, the standard these days seems to be L-arginine alpha-keto glutarate (or "arginine-AKG"). You can get that directly from bulk suppliers or find any number of formulations that contain it. I looked into buying the bulk ingredients of NOxplode and found that the price comes out to about the same as the lowest internet prices for the formulated product.

(BTW, I DO happen to keep some NO, N2O and NO2 on hand, in the lab - nasty and expensive stuff that you wouldn't want to huff.)

L'arginine is the most commonly available precurser to release.

Hey netster,
Check out NO-Xplode but be warned this has high caffeine levels and you do not want to be taking this at night. NO-Xplode gives you an incredible pump (you can see the blood veins in your eyes pumping away) but can keep you awake all night.

Another is XPand which is caffeine free and I'm currently trialling White Blood from Controlled Labs which was recommended to me by a friend in the US.

GNC Livewell have a good range of supps also check out bestbuy.supplements.com.au for cheaper prices but a limited range.

I was told by a body builder who also owns several GNC franchises to not waste my money on NO2 and just use L-Arginine...i take 1000mg after every workout....and I havent noticed any difference in my body using it compared to NO2....It is $16.99 compared with $75 for NO2.

You be the judge....

NO-Xplode looks like a good alternative to No2. I had massive results with No2 and really do believe it works. I too have tried White Blood but it's very expensive (well from where I purchased it). Controlled labs make a product called "Alpha Male" or something similar, it's a testosterone inducer, and some friends of mine reckon it should be illegal. lol.

Anyways, thanks for the response dude.

Personally, I think it's all a great big waste of money.
