Bear with me but sometimes do you ever feel like just pissing people off with it? In the apartment complex I live in a lot of the so called thugs and hardcore guys give me shit about being gay on a constant. Now I don't really give a shit if they like it or not. But sometimes I use it as a way to fuck with them. I purposely flirt with them or act towards them in a very feminine manner just because I know it's gonna annoy them. Yesterday a group of them were talking shit and instead of just ignoring them I kinda went off. I started lying and saying one of the guys was trying to sleep with me and shit just rolled on from there. Lol I know it's not right but sometimes I get tired of people talking shit.

I have a lesbian friend who whenever she hears people bad mouthing gays in public she and her girlfriend just start making out. Lol I always wanted to something like that.

If you're going to lie and say that some guy is trying to sleep with you, then you better be prepared for the consequences that could possibly come your way.

I have never used being gay as a weapon to piss people off, and I don't think I ever will.

I know it feels good to win an exchange like that but I don't like the idea of encouraging people to dislike gay people. When he tells that story to other people he will say you were seriously coming on to him because of how he is amazing, and he was disgusted etc. Those stories we all roll our eyes at.

Would be better to let them get to know you as a person or just ignore them I think.

You are right and usually I ignore it but sometimes I just get sick of hearing their nonsense.

I live in a very narrow minded area, but surprisingly I have very open minded friends. I see my volleyball family, all straight people mostly around my age, and they are open minded. At times I feel they enjoy having me around, maybe it is because I am not your typical or stereotypical gay guy. My straight guy friends even playfully hit on me and find it humorous when I hit on them.

Never thought of using my sexuality as a ploy to annoy someone, never been put in that situation.

That shit annoys me and I'm bisexual. Why do you think most people dislike gays in the first place? Because many feel that they're so "in your face" with their sexuality. Just let the guys talk their shit and move on. They're just ignorant fucks anyway. icon_lol.gif

I only picked on one guy because he was such a pretend thug. He was a guy from a town that certainly was not ghetto. And he acted all tough but we all knew he was a big softy.

I can't remember what exactly it was that I did. But I know I constantly insinuated that he wanted me. At times when I wore cologne he's comment that I smelt nice and I'd say something like "Y'know...that probably means you want to have my babies..." and go into a whole diatribe about how when you think someone smells nice, it means you think they have strong genes/immune systems would be something you want to pass down. While denying I was wearing cologne and he was smelling me all natural. This was actually before I came out. When I did come out, I made sure to say that I was just joking whenever I said shit like that.

Anyone else I flirt with who I know is straight plays along and it's not as fun.

No, I've never used being gay as a way to get back at someone. There's absolutely no point. It's easier for me to walk away than to start a useless confrontation.

No. I tend to defy stereotypes though so I have to often remind people that I like dudes.

I don't think you're in the wrong. That just sounds like good street smarts to me.

A lot of gay people are like really politically correct ideal writers, but not that won't work with everybody. sometimes you have to fight fire with fire to make people realize their sadism is wrong.

but it can escalated into real physical battle and gay bashing for real which is what i am concerned about. so thats why i just AVOID all 'street smart' areas.

I think it's a stupid idea. It's things like this that cause people to think that LGBT people are "pushing the gay agenda", making jokes that straight people are coming on to a gay person.

I've been on the other end of this and I don't see the humour in it. It's just annoying and makes you look like a dumbass.

You know that by even acknowledging these ignorant bastards that you are begging their hatred and bigotry.

Just keep walking and let the fuckers rot in their own misery. Don't stoop to their level or engage them.
