Ok so for the first time since I was in 9th grade I'm changing from Blackberry to something else. Problem is that I don't know what to buy and to be honest I'm kind of stupid when it comes to technology.
    So my 3 options are:

    1. HTC One x
    slide-1-white.png

    2. Samsung Galaxy SIII

    3. iPhone 5

Price is pretty much the same for all of them. And if I buy the HTC One x I get some Beat earphones for free.

So I need your advice on what to get icon_smile.gif, thanks guys!

The Galaxy S3. My best friend bought an iPhone5 the day after I bought my S3. We tested the batteries from full charge to death during high usage. The S3 outlasted the iPhone5 by 4.55 hours. And the recent software upgrade fixed what had been a janky camera.

It depends on what you want to use it for.

Well nothing special really. Social networks (wish there was an RJ app lol), camera, mails.

I guess the S3 is winning so far.

But for some reason, I'm leaning toward the HTC.

Your needs sound simple enough, so I can't suggest one over the others. Do you have any other devices like a tablet? If so, you might want to think about sticking with one brand to make it easier to keep them in sync.

If you like BlackBerries, you might want to hold on for a few more weeks and wait to see the new Z10. If you like the keyboards on a phone, wait a little longer and wait for the first BB10 keyboard model (I've heard it be called either a Q10 or N10).

Galaxy S3 for everyday use. And get an ipod touch or ipad mini for apps that are only available on iOS.

Nah, I've been using BB for too long. I want to change.

And apparently, S3 is really winning the race lol.

If the only thing drawing you to the One is the headphones get the GS3. My HTC Rezound came with those and they're crap. And don't get the iPhone5 either. The new connector bites you in the ass every time. Why? Well most everyone has an old 30pin charger lying around but a friend of mine lost his and literally got on facebook and asked if anyone in Chalmette, LA had one they could spare for the night. I laughed my ass off at him and showed him four different phones from four different companies, ALL WITH MICRO-USB PORTS!

lol. yes, instagram works on both droid and iphone. Almost all apps for iphone are compatible with droid.

Have you played with all 3 phones thoroughly for a week to see which one is the best fit for you?

What are you looking for your phone to be able to do? how often will you use it? what for?

i had a 9900 and loved it (still do) and now have a 4S and love that as well.

Hmmm, well I do use it a lot for regular stuff like social networks. I guess I want my phone to do cool stuff lol.

All my friends have iPhone so that's why I'm not rooting for it that much. The HTC is amazing, a friend have it and I loved it. As for the SIII, I don't know anyone who have it.
