Throughout my life I have noticed that gay people are more likely to be dramatic than straight guys. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of down to earth gay guys but those are usually more in the closet "discreet" gays.

How come it seems that the longer someone has been out, or been exposed to the gay community, the more they're likely to be a total drama queen? Like, are we simply craving more drama because we're bored, or men are more competitive and worse, when you have gay men being bitchy to each other you've got too much hormone going on, that there isn't a proper outlet. I for one like to live in peace and quiet.

I just don't get why gays like to create unnecessary drama. icon_confused.gif

ROFLMAO! Haha ok I love this thread. I believe str8t guys are pretty laid back until they decide to have a cock fight over some chick or something else petty. They are more physical. Yet gay guys can get worse than a chick in a fight. Anyway I don't like getting in conflicts or drama, turns out it just so happens I have "argue with me" stamped on my ass.

I think gay guys are very much more opinionated than straight guys. Lol no matter what, its just everywhere in the gay community. Drama follows behind us like catty chicks at a sleep over, talking about a guy they all slept with. icon_surprised.gif

Lol so no real answer to that. I'm stuck with gay guys are just more opinionated and talk before they think, instead of think before they talk. Maturity plays a part in it too.

See, girls get when they fight over guys

But why is that the case, when the guy you're fighting with can be a potential romantic partner? I don't get it. Is it just "I don't like ou because you're gay" kind of fight?

If yes, then it's self-hate. Am I right or am I right?

Ohhh no hahaha. Girls and gay guys are pretty similar. We hold grudges over peoples heads more than you know lol. Hahaha makes me laugh cause we are fireballs in a fight. Here straight guys fight and become buddy buddy and some gay guys will do the same or just have hardcore hate sex. But most gay guys are sworn enemies and its like a caldera when shit hits the fan. Lol evacuate the dance floor everyone!
It has nothing to do with our sexuality. Only straight people view it that way. also the closet guys that are painfully straight and yet desserve a nice fuck up the ass to finally break and see their desires.

Go to a striaght bar/club most prefered country clubs. That will tell you everything.
I went to a club in oklahoma tahlequah, club effx. Horrible! It was a rap/country club in a college town. Wanna see some drama go there. I was on the second floor had my jacket stolen, and a fight broke out down stairs between to striaght guys over one girl. Caused the whole damn place to fight. Next thing I saw, police with huge cans of mace spray icon_surprised.gif. I grabbed my ex, and ran out of that place before they sprayed everyone in that club. Haha my ex was practically dragged on the floor because there's NO looking back when you see that can of spray in the middle of an angry dance floor mob.

Well, you did once call me a slut.... Maybe you meant it as a term of endearment?

Either way, I have nothing against you. I'm just surprised to hear you claim you're not a shit starter, when you post holier than thou threads about how pathetic gay men are, or how anyone should strive to not masturbate.icon_lol.gif

Go back and read all the posts. Specially the ones that are engaging drama. Read and understand what they are saying, and read what your topic is saying.
You avoid drama, or try at least. I do to, haha. >.> till someone cuts me. Then I seem to fight back. That's what they want.

Oh honey I call everybody sluts. I'm sorry if it sounded like an attack. But I guess you're from the Midwest so you find a term like that with more negative connotation.

I didn't say that gay men are pathetic. If you're referring to http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/2668592 "Sadness in gay men's eyes", it's something that I thought I'd shared that's my point of view. And now I know it's probably more subjective on my part than how things really are.

And.....I don't see what ever is wrong with a thread with no masturbation challenge. It's only for fun, which I kept for about a month without touching myself. It's like any challenge, really. Like that push up challenge. I didn't really see what was wrong with those threads. If the G.A.Y. threads can exist on RJ and push up challenge threads can exist on RJ, why not a "no-masturbation challenge" thread?

What is annoying is the generalization. "Why are gays this... why are gays that...?" blablabla.

It really does say something about you that you even ask such a question. It's homophobic and stupid.

I'd try to explain rather than fight back. Fighting is useless. It's like Abraham Lincoln said:

"A drop of honey catches more flies than a gallon of gal. So with men. If you would win a man to your cause, first convince him that you are his sincere friend. Therein is a drop of honey which catches his heart, which, say what he will, is the highroad to his reason"

@ JOOU, you're free to post any threads you like, my only point is that your threads stir up drama. I think it's because you see gay people as broken things that need fixing. Like this current thread, comparing us to straight men in a negative light.

You could have said, "are gay men more likely to remember to send condolences to a sick friend than a straight guy?"

We have our good qualities too, you know.

Drama is in perception and I doubt sexuality has anything to do with it. Although my experience has been that the gays do love their drama. Most of my straight friends could live without it, but my gay pals, the talk about it, wallow in it and look for it. So, maybe I should change my first statement, yeah, gays are totally more drama.
