Ok, this is driving me insane. I've got adding videos down, no problem, But I can never get a photo added to a forum posting. I've copied the URL to the photo link and put it right below this:IMAGE HTTP ADDRESS GOES HERE

If I try to post it directly to the right of the IMAGE HTTP ADDRESS INFO it automatically puts the URL below that.
WTF am I doing wrong, this is driving me nuts.
All I see when I preview the posting is a red X in a box next to the URL.

    Thanks!

Okay the way I figured out how to do it was...

Quote someone who has an image/picture up.. Look to see where they put in the Http:// address to make that image and put your http:// image address in there instead. I hope that makes sense.

Do you click the tab that says img or URL? I've tried both.

The easiest way is to paste the URL (address) of the image into the edit box. Then highlight the URL and click on the "img" button.

The ending of the image should say .jpg or .gif, or something similar to that

so if I want to post my own portrait with this address

    http://img10.glitterfy.com/graphics/98/wild_butterfly.gif

I would paste it, and then highlight the selected address, then click "img" on top. Then done!

    wild_butterfly.gif

there, i used your IMAGE HTTP from your text and added a img, make sure you copy the entire URL adress, if its a long one, you may drag your mouse down while you copy

IMAGE HTTP ADDRESS GOES HERE, are you putting the URL adress inside the [img] brackets? copy URL and paste in the IMAGE HTTP ADDRESS GOES HERE between the brackets

yeah, i can double click the URL to highlight it, you still have to right click copy, i dunno, im just used to highlightling by holding down left click on the mouse and dragging, is that a crime? no, my ASUS dual core, 1TB, IE 8, is only a couple years old
