    Hey-

What can I say? Your life sucks based on I am not sure what. Bush in office? Clinton in office?

I did well under Clinton and Bush. I also struggled under Clinton and Bush. The only thing that was constant was me. I made decisions. Some worked and some did not. I don't blame it on the President, or the economy, or God. It is what it is.

Maybe time to make better decisions?

If the Country fails, which it will never do...

Where will you go? What country will you go to that you do not feel like a second class citizen? Mexico? Canada? England? France?

How about nutting up and working to make this country better? Too much work?

Oh, well, a million immigrants a year come into this country trying to take your spot and they will fight for it. They will fight for a piece of the American Dream. And they should get it.

Sorry to lose ya, but whatever.....

No, that's not really it. I make great decisions. But after this speach tonight (pres bush)....I had to turn it off. I just had a sick feeling and I don't think I am alone. I just never really have felt...bottom line....that this was God's country. Oh, I have lived in other places and they are not so bad....

Yeah, I love the Madonna video. She pretty much lists what made her an American Star. In America, she went from nothing in Pittsburgh to wealthy beyond belief. Damn that American system that took her from near poverty to extremely wealthy. It is not fair. Not at all.

I do not care about money. Never have. I have enough for now, but if I lose that, so what? I will earn more, I hope. If not, I hope that Obama is President and he will take care of me

If you have enough money, why do you worry about McCain or Obama? Nothing changes. They are all whores. So why does that effect your life that you are depressed? Fuck, Obama, McCain, who cares? This country will survive either.

I think she just points out the contrast. I am sure she is not ungrateful. I am not. I do think she shows some valid truths.

You can be on the defensive 24/7.

I do know that even when my family moved from Europe that it was a huge shift.....

Should I be celebrating tonight?.....I made a near record sale in the midst of a big economic slow down....but I am just uneasy about it. My client, all they want is .....MORE!! lolol

I am not depressed either...I am not sure what it is...LOL

It's funny. Cause Bush mentions God and religion, and Obama mentions God and religion. Obama mentions it more than Bush, according to a simple nexus/lexus review. But everyone says Bush is this religious guy. But in speeches Obama mentions God and religion more than Bush. Simple fact. He does.

I will live my life based on what Madonna teaches me? Does that not seem strange to you? Wow. Weird. If that does not seem strange to you, that Madonna teaches you things, OK. You live in a weird would. Vote for Obama, now it makes sense.

President Clinton was on The Daily Show Tuesday night. He said something that really depressed me. He diagnosed the problem as there was too much money in the system at one time and then said something that went something like this....imagine if all that money that was put into bad mortgages had been invested in renewable energy sources, etc.

The thought of what we have missed depresses me more than the bailout. Instead of allowing all that money to just stay in the system, the Republicans had charged some reasonable taxes and that money had been put into restoring our infrastructure. But no, taxes are absolutely evil. Better to let the system run uncontrolled and we build lots of useless houses.

This is not true. If we allow our debt to become too massive, we could fail. We run on foreign money, just like we run on foreign oil. That means foreigners can control our economy. If they lose confidence in us and turn off the money, our economy tanks. We are no longer in control of our destiny.

    Caslon-

You are either by intention or by design, unable to look at the truth. The statements you make are silly. Do you not have anyone around you that challenges your silly ideas? At all? Does no on say to you, hey Caslon, that is ridiculous? Or are you surrounded by people that only think like you, and nobody has critical thinking skills that can check you before you make a stupid statement?

OK, let's us control our own oil. But you fight against that. Then you fight against us. I truly do not get it What is your position, on anything?

    Hey Caslon-

Lay out your position. On oil, foreign debt, the bailout, whatever. It is hard to hit a moving target, that changes every two minutes, I am sure that is why you are the way you are.

Great video Azstreaker, it sounds like your having a personal crisis with how you feel about the country. I think we all feel that way sometimes. The point is, will all it's faults and problems this is still a great country to live in. When I went to Europe last year, I didn't feel the wieght of my race as I do here, it was amazing how different it felt to me over there, but this is still my country and I love it, even when she doesn't always love me back.
