    Hey Beautiful Peeps,

Recently I was at the gym and i saw two guys working out with tights on and a tank top. I haven't seen guys ever workout in tights without and baggie shorts on top of it. There were just into their workout and they were in good shape. It was actually a good look. The bugle was not noticeable at all. So I was thinking maybe i should wear tights to the gym. What striked me about these guys is that they didn't worry about anybody and just did their workout. For myself I would be worried that people would be staring at my crotch and i would be considered a gym slut. What do you think about guys and tights at the gym?

Australian pro footballers train a lot in tights/jumpers during winter. They also hit the gym that way. I guess it is about confidence and being comfortable in your own bod. A lot of guys won't wear speedos in public.....such a shame!!!

. . . and track guys run in tights, they are not crazy wear. However, tights alone are not normal gym wear. And although the bulge may have not been ridiculous with the other guys make sure you don't go in there looking like you're smuggling a snake, that would be awkward for all.

Guys' instruments are called bugles now? I'd have thought flutes or tubas. Though maybe bugles are referenced because they're designed to get guys to stand up at attention.

They're called bugles now? I suppose tubas would be wishful thinking. So far as wind instruments go guys typically seem to be smuggling flutes.

I'm pretty sure that you would get a few glances and head turns if you wore these to the gym. Just imagine doing squats in these... icon_twisted.gif

My gym is mostly conservative. As in Planet fitness. Which they don't allow shirts with the side cut out.

Not sure if these guys were gay. but I did notice they had no problems walking around naked in the locker room.

If the bulge wasn't noticable, maybe they were lesbians or eunichs.

I wear them on cold days. Mostly straight gym. No one cares. Not showing off my bulge. Just working out and focusing on my workout.icon_confused.gif

SO, I've noticed the TC is from north Carolina, and All I feel I can contribute to this is... Up here in Canada, it's cold (after all, it's winter right now). We'd be wearing something like that under our pants to stay warm if we have to be outside for a long time.

maybe those two have trained in gymnastics or dance before, regardless it's not a "bad" thing to wear at the gym. There are many versions of "normal attire" weather it be for working out, or hanging out.

Tights don't really show junk because it's tight. lol I never had my package in anyone's face in the gym. Unless they told me to do it lol So I wore tights and I just felt people were looking a my butt. So I was alittle self conscious but I'm not really the shy type if they don't like it that's not my problem. To me it's easier the pack and less bulky. Also you don't have to wear underwear with it.

I can't stand when people wear stuff like this to the gym. It's not because I don't think they have the right to, but because it's really distracting! I go to one of the gayest gyms in America, so I see short shorts, singlets, mesh, dog collars... You name it, someone at my gym has pranced around in it. It's always on the guys you don't want to see it on though so it's pretty unflattering. My theory is that the hot guys are usually there to work, not to parade around. Or maybe they're just saving it for the locker room...

If you wear a T-shirt with the tights, no one really gets to view your package. That is how the guys do it in my straight (mostly!) gym.

I wear athletic tights but only when I am out on the water rowing in 10-20 degree weather. I also put shorts on top of them

I have only ever seen one guy wear full length tights in the gym a few times a couple of years ago. But, if I remember, he was mostly doing cardio. I think they could be uncomfortable when doing leg work e.g. squats, deadlifts ... similarly wearing loose shorts with the crotch too low can be uncomfortable.

I used to have a pair - it wasn't too unusual in the 80's, in the winter, if you were were also running. (Actually, most people just ran - there weren't really a lot of fitness gyms like now.) Though loose sweats were more normal. People used to wear jocks underneath, so there might be a bulge but not a distinct outline.

edit: Hah, they're still down in the bottom of the drawer. Prolly all stretched out and full of holes by now.
