I thought 'zero dark thirty' was really good, though they might as well have called it 'homeland: the movie'

Pitch Perfect--I'd argue that it now ranks up there with Mean Girls on the list of iconic gay movies.

Super 8--Came out a few years ago but I just watched it on Netflix for the first time. It's the second-best thing J.J. Abrams has ever done (next to Star Trek).

Silver Linings Playbook--This movie surprised me with how amazing it is. Hilarious (but deep) story-line and incredibly well-acted, especially Jennifer Lawrence.

Oh, and Django of course. But if you're after a Quentinin Tarantino film I think Inglorious Basterds was better, but both have nothing on Kill Bill (vol. 1 > vol. 2).

After spending Xmas watching lots of animated movies, I really liked 2 of them:
"Arthur Christmas" - Probably the best Xmas movie. Funny, touchy and thrilling.
"Paranorman" - A bit scary for young kids, but the animation is really good, and the story is SO good.

I must say I got really fed up of Disney (it's just soooooo fake).
Films produced by Aardman or Laika are way better.

I haven't seen a good drama in forever. Would love to find one.

I have to agree with others - Pitch Perfect was way better than I expected - and should rank up there with Mean Girls.
