Have you ever been more appalled?

The other night I caught the end of an Anderson Cooper as he was doing a segment on one of the leaders of the "Truther" movement that is calling the Sandy Hook shootings an elaborate government hoax. As far as conspiracy theories go, this one takes the cake, even going so far as to call the parents of the victims "crisis actors" - professionals who specialize in acting out in grief.
Just google "Sandy Hook hoax" and check it out the many links for yourselves. This is the leading viral video of the "movement."

There will always be conspiracy theories . There is the 9/11 one that the US government planned it, and there's even the UK one that the royal family popped Diana off. The point is that a splinter of a splinter of people will be so stupid as to believe this stuff .

Have I been more appalled? Sadly, yes. But not much more. Gotta love the conspiracy theorists.

Even worse is the harrassment the survivors are getting from the conspiracy believers.

I saw this the other day and I actually could not believe it. Yes, there will always be conspiracy theories, but this really just takes the cake. So many nutjobs out there! It's frightening, really.

    Yes, I've been more appalled.

Conspiracy theorists don't hold a candle to the appalling bullshit pulled by the WBC.

The point may be made that it goes too far. However, there wouldn't be much room for conspiracies of any kind if there weren't a plethora of discrepancies involved in not only the occupations of the people involved but also the number of suspects, the weapons used, the testimony of the "nurse", the testimony of witnesses in the parking lot, and at least a few other things that would never have gone to air if the events surrounding the situation had been properly investigated.

I think the problem with this country isn't that there are people going to far with conspiracies but that there are far few people who have any interest in questioning the validity of the media they are consuming.

More appalled? Actually, yes. Every time I see Fred Phelps and his cult, the Westboro baptist church, protesting fallen soldiers, members of LGBT community, veterans, and now, the Sandy Hook children.

Even as horrible as it is, at least the conspiracy theorists aren't condemning the children and all others to the burning flames in an eternal lake of fire and being tormented for ever and ever and ever because of some so-called "god of love." Imagine attending your own child's funeral just to see a group of people with signs chanting how much god hates that murdered child and he or she is now roasting his or her ass over an open flame for all of eternity. Now, this makes me appalled like no other.

It seems like every major event falls victim to conspiracy theorists. With the exception of WBC, they always seem to connect it back to the government. I really think these people live in a constant state of paranoia and they honestly think the government is out to get them.

If it wasn't so disgusting, I'd actually try and feel sorry for them, but I can't. I can't imagine how miserable their lives must be to be paranoid all the time. They are truly unhappy people.

I guess if I was a fat and happy rich gay, I might not care about media lie's and government false flag operations, but we have I-phones and Tablets and reality TV shows and pop culture award shows, so It can't happen in America! I guess that solves that and I will go back to trying to get that retirement fund and Audi and Infiniti and BMW and pretend everything in the world is okay and honest!

Ugh!!! Where is "MeohMy" When I need him!

All three of those cars together wouldn't buy one of my Bentleys.

"You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game".

    http://rense.com/general63/sword.htm

This, and the fact that it continues, and is never covered in American media, is what I find appalling; even when it's admitted in court, and confirmed by the Italian Prime Minister. School buses and children were targeted specifically to elicit stronger emotional responses. It's absolutely horrifying, but it's true.

I don't know about Sandy Hook. Many of the points made in the video seemed a stretch, but many more reeked of an M. O. that has been a standard for intelligence agencies for decades....if it smells like a rat

These days it's easier than ever for people to withdraw from anything like reality and enter one that reinforces their views, however insane, 24/7/365. (The number of Americans who STILL think Obama was born in Kenya is something like 25% of the electorate!)
The internet also allows people to find the names, addresses and relatives of those who get on their wrong side and act against them which is a recipe for disaster.
Even by today's standards, the Sandy Hook 'Truthers' are particularly nauseating, right up there with WBC.

In the same way that any country with 'democratic' in its name usually isn't, any organisation with 'truth' in its name is usually a lie factory.

Conspiracy theorists exist in a nation with a government that tends to hide information and lie to their people. Just saying icon_wink.gif
Do you actually believe everything you hear in the media? It's all bullshit.

As Hitler once said "To conquer a nation, you must disarm its citizens."

There is a difference between a government cover-up and a moronic conspiracy theory. The problem with 'truthers' is their inability (or unwillingness) to distinguish between the two.

There's still something very fishy about this event and we've not been given very detailed information.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but it could go along the lines as to create such an event that would trigger the citizens to disarm themselves. Now majority of people believe guns should be banned because this event. The VTech and theater shootings didn't do much because we blamed it on psychotic behavior but it went too far as to shoot children which would completely change everyone's view on whether assault weapons should be banned. I mean, small town, white children. This news would be worldwide and other countries would get involved to change the gun policy of the U.S. This would then be a conspiracy theorist point of view that the government is slowly trying to ban assault weapons so they can fully control their citizens. Remember the hitler quote.

Witnesses reported more than one shooter and they arrested a couple of people in the woods near the school. How come we never heard from them again?

As far as the medical examiner, was this guy just drunk or just a bad actor? I mean, have you seen the full interview?

I'm not saying this was all a hoax but there have been many government cover ups in the past and the only way to prevent your citizens from trying to uncover the real truth is to let the media brainwash them. This is a huge tragic event yet the amount of children that died from Obama's drone policy far exceeds the amount of children that died in this event but under Obama's drone policy, they're considered terrorists.

I wonder how many of you actually watched the video the whole way through, and yet all of it is completely dismissed as hogwash. I don't know all the facts of this case, but I do know that it brings up some very bizarre discrepancies. I'm more afraid of my fellow citizens who dismiss these discrepancies than I am of the tragedies themselves. Because the moment we decide "they" would never lie to us, we will be doomed.
