ANOTHER GAY COUPLE IS ALSO FLYING THIS CONVENIENCE IN A FEW DAYS-- 36 inch leg space, bags covered and free parking. The "middle" class of service turned out to be a buy. IF ALL goes well we take Frontier again to Fort Lauderdale for a gay-group cruise later in the year (after another trip that might take us to Chicago Midway on our way to gay Palm Springs). HOPE Frontier has great success with this venture, only 6 miles from home!icon_rolleyes.gif

NOTE: they WILL need a replacement restaurant and lounge (closed mid January) if the girls become regulars!

Agreed - I flew the now defunct Pan Am Jetstream 31 service to Bedford Mass. (BED) from TTN a few years back and I believe the restaurant was closed for breakfast (at least) then so I went to the nearby Courtyard on Scotch Road for some. Inasmuch as you can get through security in a matter of minutes there, I had left plenty of time (normally flying out of PHL). Before Pan Am picked that up , the route was run by Shuttle America. And Eastwind (737s) actually used TTN as a hub for a time in the mid-90s (they would fly into BOS) before moving it to Greensboro (GSO) and then folding. Hopefully Frontier can make a go of it.

Thanks LU. I'm seriously considerng them for a FL trip in March and never flown them before (they only did a PHL>DEN in Philly so never really had the chance and they stopped that with the TTN move). I only flew Eastwind once back from BOS to TTN and the other trips there have been on turboprops. So nice to have jet service there.

Good flights on Frontier. Anyway,TTN is one of the towers slated for closure due to sequester. Also, Frontier announced it will be suspending flights Sept 9th through Nov 7th while FAA mandated improvements are made to the main runway at Trenton NJ airport.
