Why in the world would you need GPS in your sneaker?

How about electricity generating, self-cleaning, armor-serving clothing...

I do not think I cou justify the payment of $250 for the Adidas 1, but I think it is a good idea. I currently a few different pairs of shoes that I use when trail running, steepling chasing, track workouts, and road running. What they need to create is a shoe that can change weight, cushioning, and fit to match the surfaces - that woudl actaully save money then.

The electronic garmets - what an awesome idea!

Hmm are you talking about the shoe, the commercial for the shoe or both?

The commercial didn't really tell me anything about the shoe, it didn't tell me what was so special about it. I read a couple of articles about it and it is an interesting idea but the question to ask is, what does the market really want or need? Who is your target? Serious athletes? Right now to me it would only seem that people who want to have a flashy shoe would be the ones buying this.

As far as technology playing a part in athletics, I think there is definitely room for it..but again, the question is what do people want and need? How can technology make your workout better?

I would need a bit more info in order to be more helpful...
