I have this menagerie of pills that I travel with every week- all mixed together in a zip lock bag. I also carry a separate ziplock of protein powder (which often gets doubled checked by airport security).

This is what I take daily:
    Flax Seed (1 Capsule)
    Fish Oil (1 Capsule)
    Kre-Alkalyn (2x 1500mg)
    Glutamine (1x 2000mg) (horse pill)
    A multi-vitamin
Occationally a multi-enzyme after big meals

The protein I like is the zero-carb fruit punch flavored Isopure. I have no basis for selecting this protein except that its fruity tasting and I like it. I usually consume too scoops of this (yes, with water) after a strength work out.

I work out often in the gym and run 20+ miles a week.

I'm not too confident with my regimen of pills and the protein I take.

What is your regimen? I'm especially interested in what I should take right before a big strength work out.

More importantly, what's your diet like?

That sounds like a pretty fair regime to me, though I'd have to stand solidly behind Tex. Supplements, by definition are a top up, just to make sure that your diet is good enough. Ideally you shouldn't need supplements at all.

I tend to run protein powder, glutamine and creatine, together with a multivitamin. I haven't yet tried the flax seed, but I will because I think it's a good move. Perhaps not necessary, but I see no harm in it.

Looks pretty good. I would just try and split up your protein intake. From what I've read your body can't uptake more than 30grams of protein in one take. Try taking one scoop an hour before your training session and have the other afterwards.

Another creatine supplement I would also recommend is Fusion Nutrition's PurpleK, I've found pretty great results from it.
