    Well?

So recommend some supplements for me. I'm a fairly small guy at 5'5 and 135 soaking wet. I don't want to become necessarily bigger, just more toned and cut. What should I take?

At your height/weight you really don't need any supplements to get toned, your already lean. Just increase the cardio and eat a clean diet (lower carbs/fats). Increase workout intensity as well.

Add this: avoid processed foods and eat lots of fiber. For fiber, I eat oatmeal, red bell peppers, mushrooms, collards, kale, spinach, sweet potatoes.

Get a good pre-workout drink with or without creatine (I like the energy). And a good protein drink for after your workout that has both slow and fast absorbing type proteins. Bookend your workout with these. They are the basics. I agree with muscman that you probably don't need the pre-workout to get toned, I just find the mix of caffeine, amino acids, and creatine gives me energy to work harder and quickens my recovery after. There are some studies that now say the half to one hour window to introduce a protein boost after workout isn't really the key, more that you're just increasing your daily consumption of protein, but I can tell you that it helped me grow some, dampens my appetite, and gives me 3 or 4 hours of protein-based energy.

    Creatine.

Otherwise, focus on workout and diet. Supplements aren't magic. For example, if you want energy before a workout, might as well drink a cup of coffee than take some fancy pre-workout supplement.

Cardio combined with a "clean" diet. Probably the best description I have heard lately, "clean". Less processed, more natural.

I've noticed that when I strived to lift heavier i've been getting more cuts and such..

The first whey protein tub I bought and used, I've noticed an incredible difference.. then I started with Creatine monohydrate and noticed I got a lot stronger and beefier.

clean eating along with a good protein powder that is high in protein and low in filler is a good way to go. Also, take fish oil- sometimes you can lose good fats when eating clean to get cut and that will actually help you to become more cut because it will help increase your metabolic rate.

I take a multivitamin each day. That's about it. I don't know if it even does anything.

Fish oil is good for your blood lipids. A significant enough does (3000 mg+ EPA/DHA) can massively reduce your triglycerides.
