Just got back from seeing the new zombie comedy/action film WARM BODIES, & I must say that was one hell of a fun/funny/action packed & good BLAST! It def sets itself apart from the rest o' the zombie munchin' pack!

Plot: After R (a highly unusual zombie) saves Julie from an attack, the two form a relationship that sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.

Not only was it a cool lil' zombie comedy flick (w/ tons of brain eating/munching/action), it's directed by one o' my fav new up & coming directors Jonathan Levine (director of the awesome modern slasher film ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE, & the Joseph Gordon Levitt starring film 50/50).

It's a cool/new approach of the zombie sub-genre, where everything is from the zombie's POV. How he "sees" things around him. Plus it obviously is a play on the Romeo & Juliet/Beauty & the Beast type plot, which it did very well without hamming it up. If you enjoyed Shaun Of The Dead, you'll def dig this.

& just to say bluntly - if you think this is like "Twilight" - think again. This is the anti-Twilight.

    Just spreading the word!

Yep it's awesome - and it was filmed here in Montreal, so if you know the city you can catch lots of glimpses.

    Zombies are awesome!

Is it more of a romantic comedy than it is horror?

Well - the romantic angle is the driving theme of movie but it has every bit of thrilling scenes, good action, smart comedy, & good drama. Theres plenty of zombie attack action for the fans of zombie films! icon_smile.gif

The only thing I hate about this trailer is that I now feel as though I have seen the film before I have actually watched it.

It shows too much but nevertheless I can't wait to see it haha
