Buying underwear for a normal size guy

Anyone ever wish the models used in underwear ads were a little more "average" in size? I'm not a 28 waist and it's tough trying to buy skivvies on line when you have no idea what they might look like on your body. Woman's fashion seems to be including full figure ladies. So why not an average Joe model for men's clothing?

If it's average joe models, wouldn't that equate to average joe clothing? Compare Hanes and Fruit of the Loom models to those of some "high fashion" underwear. i think you'll see a difference.

I do get put off buying Aussiebums when I see I am apparently a size XXL or whatever when I am only an L at Calvin Klein or Gap.

There you go. Same problem here. I'm either medium or large depending on what I'm buying. I don't have that perfectly flat belly so seeing a 28 waist guy modeling the underwear that I like - I don't wear Hanes of FOTL.
