Ok, so I'm one to change up my workout routine every chance I get. I recently came across the infomercial for Body Beast. Is anyone in the RealJock world doing this workout? Any advice or tips? How is it going for you?

I just started my 2nd week today. The 1st week killed me but I got through it and feel soooo sore and accomplished. All the feedback I can get would be awesome!

i have a lot to say .. since i have done BB for 9 or 10 months now..... they are good programs, but without real knowledge of working out, health and diets, they can take you over a cliff.....

i went down the road of hybrids, combining insanity with p90x, and it was a bad mix...... it took a while to realize that i was harming myself, and now, since .. i have had to cease all excercise, and put all my weight loss back on again. and basically, feel like i need to start all over..

its too intense, tooo much at once... and many people just follow blindly... my thoughts are that working out should be 3 times a week, very specific routines, and lots of rest,, shaun t will have you jumping 6 days a week to exhaustion, and eventually drive your body into the ground, unless you really KNOW what your doing...

    proceed with knowledge, and caution.

Those are good points. I like following along to dvds because they take me out of my (naturally slow) pace and introduce me to new exercises I normally wouldn't ever think of doing. But you have to touch base with reality or it's like following your GPS without looking at the road!

I'm actually waiting for P90X-2, but this (body beast) looks good too.

I am into my second week and I love it. I try to follow it as close as possible. No rest between sets I have all the needed weights in front of me. I huff and puff and sweat a lot muscles have tightened up a lot more and I am going up in weights. The program really pushes you lost 5 pounds already plus I can tell I can do a little more. I also work out with weights and machines but mainly the BB workout. The first time I saw the infomercial I was impressed with it. Worth the money I spent on it.
