    I was not aware of this. Makes me proud to be an American. Glad they accomplished something besides the disappointing delay and red tape of building back the Twin Towers as the Freedom Tower

    I must admit I was skeptical at first, especially since the ussnewyork site had a .com rather than a .mil domain.

    As the article said, He just told me it is amphibious landing ship designed to land marines ashore via landing craft (boats) and helicopters. icon_biggrin.gif He was a Naval Flight Officer
